Terms

The service. MemeByMood is a free browsing and identification tool. It provides original text descriptions of well-known meme templates, organised by mood, to help you find and name the template you are looking for.

Ownership. Meme templates, characters and names referenced on this site belong to their respective original creators and rights holders; they are used descriptively only. MemeByMood hosts no meme images. Our own content — the mood taxonomy, card texts, usage notes and site design — is our work and may not be scraped wholesale or republished as a competing library.

Your use. You are responsible for how you use any meme you find through this site, including respecting the rights of its creator and the rules of the platform you post it on. Most classic templates circulate for non-commercial, commentary-style use; when a creator's terms matter, check them.

No warranty. The site is provided as-is, without guarantees of availability or of any tag being the one your group chat would have chosen. Mood classification is an editorial opinion, and spirited disagreement is part of the format.
